Emefa has spent a number of years in the United Kingdom advising numerous clients on various dispute resolution matters including in the areas of civil litigation, housing, employment & labour, bankruptcy and administration, probate, and general commercial contracts. Her commercial experience in the United Kingdom includes advising clients on real estate transactions and early-stage project development.

Here in Ghana with HB&O Legal, Emefa has been involved in assisting in a due diligence exercise and the review of transaction documents for the acquisition of a major mining company; a mediation in the hospitality industry involving a significant hotel and its manager, reviewing and drafting documentation for the early stages of an energy and infrastructure project in the oil and gas industry and conducting legal research for various corporate and commercial issues both for the firm and for an external Africa wide provider of legal information.

Emefa is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and is an ADR/ODR International Accredited Civil-Commercial Mediator.
